There is a buzz going around the office about a certain movie. This movie is apparently the most powerful thing that some of our staffers have ever seen. It has the potential to change lives and certainly aligns with our mission of reaching the Triangle to change the world.

Our Director of Local Hope, Byron McMillan, is one of the few that’s had the opportunity to prescreen Unconditional and he feels passionately about making sure the movie hits local theaters. Check out his blog for more on Unconditional and how you can help bring it to our area.

Thanks to Hope attendees, over 3,000 pairs of shoes were donated during services the weekend of August 20 & 21. Share Our Shoes of Raleigh received a ton and a half of shoes to send to schools in Haiti. As if that wasn’t enough, many went home and brought back bags of shoes to show their support! As a result of this incredible display of generosity, Hope decided to give an additional $5,000 to cover shipping costs for the shoes. Hope and Share Our Shoes can’t thank YOU enough for your spirit of giving. Indescribably beautiful it was to watch attendees give the shoes right off their feet for such a great cause. Hope Community Church will continue to bring light to both local and global crisis to instill the importance of giving and serving those in need.
